While running a module of the JD suite that enters the phase and stratum for each object, jW noticed that it treated q-lot sherds as objects and inserted stratigraphic data for them in the q-item section without any notation to indicate that they are from sherds. Stratigraphic data for sherds is not entered with the individual sherd as one would expect. [Input: R722JW.j]

At the daily meeting, gB introduced several methods for describing commonalities among elements that were not candidates for aggregation. One was to group the elements as an assemblage, coded as a b followed by a sequential number. The second was to discuss the commonalities on the left-hand side of the UGR. The third was to prepare a text file which describes the commonality and then link it to the elements that share it. [Input: R723JW.j]
